Late June in the garden on the hill

Iris from the back garden

the sun on the mountain and poppy time
in the garden

Canterbury bells that will have to come to town in the spring.

The Philadelphia Orange that smells so delicious
and that I will miss so sorely....

Pink Climbers

Morning sunlight filtered through orange poppies

and so we go into July....

If I had to pick a favorite photo of all these beautiful flowers...it would be the white peony with the magenta flower in the foreground...the photo just after the lovely fragrant Philadelphia Orange!

I don't know the name of that magenta flower, Wanda, but I have moved it with us twice now, and must go up to the garden in the spring and bring a little clump of it to the town garden. It blooms for a long time in mid-summer.
